WEPL emphasizes on the health and safety of all workers (soft and hard) in our projects. EHS for us is not just a policy on paper, but is a responsibility to employees and to the environment.

We do safety analysis for ongoing projects and analysis of failures. We have the depth of knowledge to create a robust health and safety plan.

Pre – Construction Phase

  • Delineate action plans relating to Corporate Sustainability and Risk Assessment policy/Corporate Governance Policy/EHS policy/Environmental Policy/Occupational Health Safety Policy and Quality policy delination and define action plan on Environment impact assessment
  • Delineate and define action plan on Environment Impact Assessment (EIA)/Statute compliance conditions/compulsions
  • Interface Project determinants to Risks & Opportunities at Design (R.O.A.D )
  • Accomplish Project Risk Assessment ( PRA) exercise and align mitigation program
  • Delineate EHS Implementation Plan (EHS IP) for project
  • Conduct Workshop / Training / Induction to project team and appraise about the acceptable performance indicators for the project
  • Collate Emergency Management Plan (EMP)

Construction Phase

  • Align Visual Management attributes to the project
  • Commit performance protocols/formats/checklists to the project site
  • Conduct EHS system Inspection / Audits/Safety audits/ Competitions/Awareness programs
  • Conduct Incident/Accident investigation & establish Corrective Action / Preventive action (CA/ PA), Review Safe Work Method Statement through Job Safety Analysis/Job Hazard Analysis/Job Exposure Analysis (JSA/JHA/JEA)
  • Facilitate Off site Emergency plan/ Mock drills/ Fire Safety Management System
  • Preside over implementation of EHS IP including Environmental Management
